The 1961 Covered Bridge Farms covered bridge is built on a 39-foot cement slab that spans the Christiana River in New Castle County, Delaware. Although it was built 65 years ago, it is a non-authentic covered bridge, surrounded by a loving community.
Covered Bridge Farms is an older 1960s-70s development about a mile and a half west of the University of Delaware campus. This wooded, rolling hills community is nestled in a unique corner of the state, adjacent to Maryland and Pennsylvania, where the boundaries of the three states converge.
